ACTIVISTS VISIT VILLARAIGOSA'S SISTER!
Activists paid an afternoon visit to Deborah Jean Villar's home in an upscale neighborhood in Rowland Heights. Two individuals rang Deborah's door bell (they are on a first name basis!) hoping to have a polite yet informative conversation with Tony's sister about teaching her brother to have compassion for homeless and lost animals being needlessly killed inside LAAS. A pleasant looking Hispanic man with multiple gold chains around his neck answered the door and told them that Deborah was in the shower, so they gave him some important information for her to read. We're hoping that after she reads it, she finds it in her heart to call her brother and have a little chat with him regarding a simple but effective way to save the lives of animals inside his Death Camps; that is to FIRE ED BOKS and hire those who will implement the No Kill programs, protocols and policies proven to save the lives of homeless and lost animals.
Before leaving the affluent neighborhood, activists decided to hold a picket and educate the neighbors about what Antonio is responsible for as Mayor of Los Angeles; we informed them that not only does Antonio refuse to keep his marriage vows, but he refuses to keep his vow to make LA city NO KILL. We explained to the curious neighbors about the fact that Villaraigosa and his staff, namely Jimmy Blackman, are refusing take the necessary steps to stop this killing. Neighbors agreed that Villariagosa is not who they thought he was and several told us that if Villaragisoa doesn't shape up and begin to conduct himself like a leader, they are not going to vote for him for any future political office he seeks to occupy.
We intend to continue educating family members about the Mayor and his staff, since it seems that Antonio and his staff are incapable of doing what's best for the animals on their own. Maybe their family members will knock some sense into their heads; however, having endured under the misguided leadership of Villaraigosa for the past three years, we're not holding our breath!
