Los Angeles- Animal rights activists got together during L.A.'s recent triple-digit heat wave in order to protest the ongoing slaughter of tens of thousands of innocent, defenseless animals by the department of Los Angeles Animal Services (LAAS). The department of Los Angeles Animal "Services" runs the six municipal animal 'shelters' -  virtual DEATH CAMPS FOR HOMELESS AND LOST ANIMALS IN LOS ANGELES - under con man and liar General Manager Ed Boks.

Activists picketed Samuel  Blackman's neighborhood because Samuel is the father of Jimmy  Blackman who is the arrogant, nasty and vindictive Deputy Mayor to LA's adulterer extraordinaire, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa!

Activists explained to neighbors that they were there to ask, beg and request that Samuel  Starr Blackman and his wife Jing Ying, tell their son Jimmy to fire General Manager Ed Boks - the two-time loser fired from New York City shelter system and asked to leave Maricopa County shelter system for cooking the books and failing to implement proven No Kill policies, protocols and programs for the animals imprisoned there.

Several residents came out to show their support. They asked activists why Jimmy's mother and father never instilled any compassion in their son; but one neighbor who has lived in the area for many years stated that Jimmy was always an arrogant kid who wants to be "Antonio's man" when he becomes President of the United States!"

Well someone ought to tell Jimmy that he shouldn't hold his breath! Jimmy has latched on to the wrong man to ever become President let alone a presidential contender. Antonio does NOT keep his promises; (both Antonio Villaraigosa and Jimmy Blackman promised back in October 2005 that the city of LA would hire No Kill Solutions to come in, consult and oversee a Nation wide search for an individual capable of implementing the NO KILL EQUATION HERE IN LA) and less then a month later, went back on that promise and instead appointed the shyster and sinister Ed Boks.

Activists marched, chanted and recited the issues associated with the campaign to 'Stop The Killing' and replace the sociopathic Ed Boks with someone competent and compassionate who will implement the proven protocols needed to find homes for the legions of lovable, treatable and adoptable dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, and bunnies whom Boks has no trouble sending unceremoniously to the kill rooms.
