STOP THE KILLING CAMPAIGN

Jimmy Blackman's Property: Ex wife's neighbors were very welcoming to activists who explained to them the horrors going on inside LAAS because of Jimmy Blackman's lack of leadership. Jimmy Blackman is the deputy Mayor overseeing LAAS.

LOS ANGELES - Animal rights activists representing several different groups convened to participate in a round of mobile demonstrations on behalf of the tens of thousands of lost and homeless companion animals and wildlife systematically slaughtered in the kill rooms of the six municipal shelters under General Manager Ed Boks. First on the agenda was a visit to the neighborhood of Robin Kramer, Mayoral Chief of Staff - to "advise" her that Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa needs to fire Ed Boks and hire No Kill Solutions to do the job that he - despite a salary of $165,000 a year - seems empirically and historically unable or unwilling to do.

Next up was Ed Boks himself. Activists let the neighbors know exactly what is transpiring at the six City shelters and how Ed Boks makes no effort to find loving homes for the animals. It was pointed out that the tens of thousands of dogs, cats, and bunnies murdered are no different from the ones who share their yards and beds. Many of the residents came out and asked activists for leaflets explaining what's going on. Activists explained that Boks has been fired from New York City and Maricopa County, Az from the same position for failing to reduce the kill rate and for "cooking the books" (manipulating the statistics) to falsely appear to have accomplished something, Boks remains cocky that he can get away with the same crimes in Los Angeles. He has currently embarked on a "speaking tour" with a series of "No Kill" lectures and Press Releases in order to hoodwink the public and City officials that he really is doing something other than unceremoniously murdering at least half the animals who have the misfortune to enter his portals.

Boks seems to hide his "stat-fudging" capers, by characterizing them as endeavors to make the statistics more "accurate." Much as someone embezzling funds from a company would rename existing; invent new; and delete old categories, he is doing just that in order to "spiff up" the live release rate - and "tone down" the kill stats. He shuffles the animals around in columns in a ledger - but in real time he drags them to the bump rooms for a shot of "Fatal Plus."

Off to the Valley to pay their respects to Jimmy Blackman (Deputy Mayor). Most of the neighbors of Blackman's ex-wife (Jimmy STILL owns the property) were sincerely interested in learning why activists were there and what the campaign was about. A couple of Jimmy's neighbors stated that the first time animal rights activists picketed there, Jimmy showed up later and went door to door telling the neighbors that activists are criminals and attempted to take away the leaflets activists had passed out! Then, the morning of this demonstration, Jimmy left a flyer in everyone's mail box letting them know to call police if they saw any activists picketing that afternoon! Activists learn a LOT from neighbors who simply hate the fact that these sleazy politicians get away with MURDER! They want to help activists expose the truth!

The final destination was the neighborhood of Mayor Antonio Villar. We have removed the "Raigosa" after his name in honor of his wife "Corina Raigosa" whom Tony DISHONORED! Seems he's moving back into the family home after his long-suffering and beautiful wife Corina and their kids had enough of his cheating and lies and initiated divorce proceedings. We will never forget speaking with Corina outside this family home before they moved into the Mayoral mansion in 2005. She told activists at that time to "Take if from me, for your sake I wouldn't want to make Tony mad." She literally said this in a state of fear and we have always wondered if she has been mentally and maybe even physically abused by Villar.

The visit to Villar's neighborhood concluded a long but effective day of getting the word out about the plight of lost and homeless pets and wildlife in Los Angeles' six Death Camps and to DEMAND the KILLING BE STOPPED. Tired and hungry - but satisfied that many more people knew about the issues - activists departed for home.
